We also had to create a shoulder mounted gun for the module, this didn't have to be textured but it had to be our own design.. here was my 'attempt'. I got too involved with the G36C and didn't spend anywhere near enough time on this resulting in it being a bit of a mess.

3D Modelling for Games Hand-in
The hand in for 3D Modelling for Games is tomorrow.. Unwrapping the gun took quite a while and the texture, in the renders at least, turned out quite dark. But overall I'm pretty happy with it, definitely need to work on my presentation though!

Mo-Cap
Another module I've been taking is Motion Capture.. and today we had to present our work! We were given a 'Surfer Dude' character that had been rigged and we had to create 10 animations for him in the Mo-Cap studio, clean up the data and then apply it to the rig for the final render.
Our chosen animation set was a footballer.. below is a simple storyboard for our animations and a video of the animations themselves.

Stafford: Computer Games Design
I recently started at Staffordshire University where I'm studying Computer Games Design! One of the first modules we've been given is to follow one of the lecturers tutorials and create a small alley with a few simple assets..
Here's my first attempt at a block out of the scene.
